The collection, available from midnight, is called “See You Soon” and seems to express the melancholy of these empty, almost monotonous weeks for many spent between their home and office dreaming in the meantime all those outdoor days… that we miss them awfully.
Helmut Lang, one of the most influential brand on the international fashion scene, has collaborated with the Canadian streetwear brand Saintwoods and what we noticed from the first glance… is that they have a lot in common with each other: they both follow naturally the philosophy of “effortless elegance“.
“See You Soon” is the capsule created during the lockdown and was unveiled a few hours ago, through an adv campaign by David Brandon Geeting, as the new Resort Collection 2020.
The lookbook instinctively connects us to the 90s, through an environment immersed in essential office furniture and minimal mixed items, which remind us that the first rule of fashion is that there are no rules. No dress is built with a a label that tells us how to wear it. Whereby… let us be inspired by Helmut Lang with the contemporary touch of Saintwoods, once again, that if we want to wear a refined shirt with comfortable sweatpants, we can do it.
The models, who posed for the campaign, emerged ironically between smart-working positions and photos from family trips. The collection includes a wide range of items, such as oversized t-shirts, brightly colored sweaters and comfortable trousers, featuring graphics logos that reflect the theme of travel.
You can discover the entire collection on the web sites of the brands, with prices ranging from $165 to $295:
