Susanne is into knitwear business since 5 years. in her profession as a designer and product manager she got in contact with many italian knitwear manufacturers. in cooperation with them she developed the first samples for tom & hawk. Her sister annette was working in retail many years. During that time she realized how hard it is to find exciting collections for young men. Inspired by ethnical designs and old patterns from the 80s, a young collection full of favourite pieces was created. in old archives susanne found patterns made on the cms machine, a knitting machine that is able to make almost every design. a technique that got lost during the last few years while most suppliers were making only plain sweaters.
