After the London debut of Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2019 collection, the French fashion house announced an imminent pop-up to “bring” the products to the United States.
Hosted by the Chrome Hearts flagship store in New York, the “temporary residence” will include a limited selection of items from the next collection, ranging from layered layering pieces to chunky “Millionaires” sunglasses.
The “The Wizard of Oz” themed creations include the “Brick Road” crew-neck sweater, the poppies and the Dorothy golden anorak and a metallic silver poncho inspired by the Tin Man, made of leather and treated paper.
A selection of more sober garments accompanies these trendy items, such as the “Savoir-Faire” leather trench coat, a beige sweater inlaid with brushed mohair and even a “Prism LV” charm attached to a luxury carabiner.
Accompanying wearables there are a myriad of bags, including the holographic standout “RGB Prism” which houses messengers, trunks and stoles full of monograms, all weighed down by heavy ceramic chains.
The articles of the first LV men’s clothing line of the American designer – including jackets, bags and other accessories – will be available for purchase from January 10th.
