Along the launch of the Virgil Abloh‘s exhibition at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, the creative director of Off-White™ releases a new capsule collection for Louis Vuitton and announces the opening of a pop-up store.
According to WWD, the pop-up store will follow the style of the new “all-orange” capsule collection of accessories, released by Virgil Abloh x Louis Vuitton.
The temporary space in fact, will feature a gigantic orange mannequin similar to the one previously exhibited in the Louis Vuitton store in New York City.
The new accessories collection includes six different items: a shoulder bag, a backpack, a pair of sneakers, a baseball cap, a pair of sunglasses and a belt with chain.
Needless to say, all the accessories feature the typical all-over “LV” monogram logo and are entirely made of textured leather.
The Virgil Abloh’s exhibition entitled “Figures of Speech”, will take place from 10 June to 22 September 2019 at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art and it will include the “Church & State” pop-up store located on the fourth floor of the museum.
