Virgil Abloh launches the new Instagram profile to show the creative process behind his collections.
Despite his thirty-two Instagram profiles – including those from flagship stores and specific lines such as costumes and accessories – Off-White launched his latest account, @off__white__seasons, to show us the backstage of his latest collection, the Resort 2021.

“If I were a 17-year-old kid and I wanted to learn how to get into fashion, all I would want is a documentary or an Instagram account where I could see how the idea comes to life because then I could take that and interpret it how I would want to. So this account to me is going to be the home of future seasons; it will be the place where we can story-tell and show our process, thereby letting people into the DNA of Off-White, not just the surface of Off-White.”
Off-White Seasons presents lookbook images, backstage photos, audio recordings of phone calls, product samples and WhatsApp messages that provide a glimpse into the creative process and highlight the collaborators who work within the brand.
Virgil Abloh has specified his intention to immerse fashion enthusiasts within his creative process, and with them all the young designers who would like to observe the gears of a creative design team more closely.
