Vans collaborates with Penn, for a new tennis-inspired capsule!

Who would have thought that skateboarding and tennis could coexist within a single collection. Yes, even these two sports, although completely opposite, can find a bridge. This is what is called “versatility”, and in this fashion is the master. Once again, in fact, Vans has unleashed an ace in the hole surprising everyone with its new collaboration with Penn, the iconic manufacturer of pressurized tennis balls. The capsule, strongly influenced by the historical heritage of the sports company, offers three footwear options inspired on the one hand by the 90’s skate aesthetic and on the other by the country club aesthetic, ready for the pitch.

Specifically, the collection offers the Authentic model, with a very reserved lacing with red illustrations on the sides, including the writing “Tennis Shoes”, on its white-on-white color. This is followed by the Lowland CC with the legendary “Flying V” logo from the past, in a slight shade ranging from blue to light blue. And finally, the highlight, the Slip-On which opts for a bold yellow and orange colorway similar to a tennis ball, while the upper also features a Vans checkerboard pattern.

But it doesn’t stop there. The collaborative collection also includes clothing with vintage tennis-inspired graphics and a checkered bucket hat. The collection is now available here, on the official website. We inform you immediately that the prices are fortunately on average low. In fact, the shoes can be purchased for a value of € 85, with the exception of the Lowland CC model which costs € 105. As they say in tennis jargon, once again Vans scored a good ace (clean point)!
