Valentino has decided that he will show twice this July, giving us an unmissable digital performance!
Pierpaolo Piccioli‘s brand will fascinate us this July, staging not a single high fashion event, but two.
Valentino will parade during the digital Parisian défilé organized by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, which will be held on July 8 at 18.00 and in his hometown Rome on July 21.
Physical fashion shows’ resumption, after the long wait caused by the pandemic, therefore, is rapidly increasing.
The event of Valentino will be partly anticipated during the French parade, and then take place 13 days later in the beautiful Rome, precisely at the studios of Cinecittà.
Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli involved the artist Nick Knight to merge High Fashion to digital.
He stated in a press release that he had involved the artist:
“…in order to amplify the human values of Haute Couture through an idea in which the mastery of the House will be highlighted on the digital side”
As Valentino continued:
“A live performance whose result will be the expression of Couture’s values: creativity, imagination and emotion. No digital effect, in fact, can replace the humanitas”
Only a few industry experts will be invited to the show, while it can be seen streaming on Valentino’s digital channels.
We just have to wait impatiently to find out how everything will be managed and what beautiful creations has in store the Maisón for this Fall Winter 2020 Haute Couture!
