Antonio D’Andrea and Hanna Boyer are the two designers who gave life to the Vaderetro brand in 2019, one of the finalist brands of Who is on Next? 2020, the contest for emerging talents in collaboration with Vogue Italia.
Vaderetro comes from the Latin “To go back”, since the two designers are inspired by the past by taking essential pieces of the wardrobe, proposing them in a modern and original way.
Against all trends and rules, Vaderetro completely changes course for each season, letting itself be carried away by the flow of inspiration of the moment, creating without gender and without limits.
Furthermore, it is a brand with a low environmental impact, from the recycling of fabrics, to slower production rates, to the study of materials and techniques designed for maximum yield and durability.
The latest collection, presented at ALTAROMA, is inspired by the birth of Italian-American culture in the 50s and 60s, combining timeless Italian style with relaxed American charm.
