Until the twenties of the last century the title given to this editorial would not have been possible, even inconceivable. The reason is simple: there were no sportswear to wear as daywear or, if you want to exaggerate, combined with long dresses for important evenings. With the arrival of Paul Poiret and Coco Chanel, the vision is gradually changed. Davide Grillo, born in La Spezia (Liguria) in 1993, becomes a young bearer of this aesthetic, but not because it is fashionable, or for lack of creative inspiration, but because it is the personal and unique way he has to see (his) woman of today, as well as fashion in general.

Over sized sweatshirts and sweaters in wool meet, since the beginning of his career as a fashion designer, romantic, poetic, pre-Raphaelite dresses. Emphasizing the last is the use of colors typical of that iconography: pink, yellow, light purple, white, a touch of red and nude. You can not miss black, a classic. Gold is expressed by the sequin stitching on two key pieces of the autumn-winter 2018 collection: the long dress and the suit combining jacket and trouser.

Grillo continues his path as clothing creator started in 2016 with the spring-summer 2017 collection. It is expressed by a stylistic continuum, also visible in the production phase, where each piece is made and sewn by hand in Italy. The woman for the next winter is in line with the trends of the season, which represent her more soft, pure, with a few exceptions.
