THE ITALIAN COMPOSER IS HONORED BY THE ACCESSORIES BRAND AND THE FAMOUS MALL
Unconventional Verdì. Amami Alfredo, fuoco di gioia, niun mi tema. No, they are not a sentence written at random in a moment of inebriation. These are three famous arias written by the composer Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901), from Parma. Pijama and Fidenza Village have decided to collaborate to pay homage to the Parma Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2020 event. In fact, on the occasion of the Verdi and Verdi Off Festivals, in partnership with the Teatro Regio di Parma, the two companies have decided to create a great project that combines art, fashion and music, precisely Unconventional Verdi.
How? Through the creation of three limited edition clutch bags made by Italian artisans with high quality recycled fabrics. Kreativehouse, for the occasion, is the agency that designed the pochette. Moreover, the peculiarity of these accessories are the same number of arias, coming from the Traviata, the first, and from Otello, the others.
SHOPPING AND MUSIC: WHAT TO DO FOR HAVING THEM
Pijama’s clutch bags are not for sale. In fact it is possible to request them as a gift with a minimum purchase of 400 euros between the boutiques of the Village. Everyone can choose the one they prefer. Perhaps remembering the emotion of a love story like the one between Violetta and Alfredo, in the Traviata. Or the Cypriot adventures of the general of the Venetian army; the enemy Jago. And then Rodrigo and Desdemona.
Since 2006 Pijama has been making softcase and neoprene accessories, which have become iconic all over the world thanks to the special textures that the creative team led by Monica Battistella, fashion designer and architect Sergio Gobbi, invents every season. After the success at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, the collaboration with Fidenza Village arrives, which becomes another way for the brand to express its value, paying homage to one of the greatest composers of all time. Peppino, Giuseppe Verdi.
