THE NIPPONIAN COMPANY HAS CHOSEN AGAIN THE LONDONER DESIGNER
Uniqlo and JW Anderson. They are not two names that, if put together, say nothing. In fact, the former is a giant of fast fashion, the latter, Jonathan Anderson, is, instead, one of the most promising fashion designers of these years. And then they already collaborated. The previous collections, starting from the autumn-winter 2017 premiere, British Heritage Meets LifeWear, was a success and this is why Uniqlo decided to recall the made in Uk creative flair.
Spring-Summer 2020 will be launched in stores in March. British Country Style themed, the collection of designer Jonathan Anderson is the first to include children’s clothing. This new line combines the functionality and details of LifeWear with the designer’s playful interpretation of traditional English motifs such as ginkam check and patchwork. Commenting on the announcement of January 23, Anderson said: «I can’t wait to see our latest collection with Uniqlo in stores. It looks new and fresh, but still has the JW Anderson style. And with the addition of a baby line there is really something for everyone».
