«The problem cannot be solved on its own but it contains all the elements for its solution, it is necessary to know them and use them in the solution project”. Bruno Munari – From what what is born
Do you have a life full of activities? Work, travel, gym, going out with friends .. A bag too small for one activity is too large for another and vice versa.
Are you a traveler who hates having lots of luggage but at the same time is unable to have a well-organized bag?
Do you love order and have the phobia of finding your wallet next to slippers?
After presenting several scenarios, let’s now deal with the solution: good design comes from solving a problem.
Two different people, two different bags, which in case of need can become one. Different situations that require different scholarships .
As in Munari’s quotation above, all the elements must be carefully analyzed and exploited to obtain a solution.
Here comes one of the most fascinating and magical concepts, which has always been present in human life to make it simpler: modularity .
Modules of two different sizes, an intelligent system of joining the modules, a shoulder strap: here are the ingredients of Moca , a young Italian brand of bags that they can be transformed at will, by combining modules, colors and shoulder straps, to obtain many types of bags and backpacks.
The colors are also functional : the different shades of soft colors facilitate the recognition of the place where the objects of a certain category are stored.
Moca therefore works a bit like a archive where documents are collected by topics in different dossiers.
Who created Moca?
The Moca bag was designed by the designers Emanuele Elisei and Paola Santilli.
The idea is of Emanuele who, in addition to being a graphic designer and art director, is also a traveler and a sports fan who is passionate about martial arts.
During a training session, Emanuele sensed how useful a bag would have been where the dirty clothes could remain separate from the clean ones.
Paola, on the other hand, comes from the fashion and communication sector and is the founder of the brand Piloh .
During collaborations with some brands in the fashion sector, she became expert in launching new products, taking care of them from the prototype to the production, up to the promotional activities.
After many, many prototypes, the search for the right suppliers and the development of the final version, the innovative bags 100% Made in Italy go into production.
They are made with a material with high technical performance: Cordura 1000 D , durable, water-repellent and ultra-resistant.
