Crazy event organized by Saucony, last night in Milan.
It must have been the desire for real life, it must have been the almost 2 years that separated us from live events of this magnitude but Saucony has given life to a masterpiece event during the Salone del Mobile 2021. A level at which, for a long time we have not witnessed .
A mixture of fashion and music with the DJ Set of Shablo, accompanied by the irresistible duo of the little sisters DJs Pamela and Paola Ameyibor and, with a vocal intervention in the highlight of the evening with the arrival of Hernia that drove those present crazy … and then the food of the highest level with the catering of Carlo and Camilla (yes Carlo Cracco!).
Everything in the wonderful and scenographic context, among the courtyards, gardens and halls of Carlo al Naviglio.
What’s more?
High-level drinks and lots of space for the protagonists of the evening: the Saucony sneakers. In particular, the 30 years of the Shadow 6000 were celebrated … told by a series of limited editions that you can find in the gallery below, with a museum-like exhibition.
We have admired historical pieces and some exclusive ‘previews’ such as the ‘Sweet Street’ which are expected to be released on October 22nd.

And today, speaking of sneakers … space for customization. Custom artists, they performed live painting and working to give life to unique pieces, and they made themselves available to customize Saucony caps to pay homage to the lucky audience of those present.
The Wait and SHOPenauer staff were also lucky enough to have a nice chat with the chief marketing officer of Saucony, Fabio Tambosi, who has been with the Company for only 7 months … and with a unique history spanning top brands …. is ready to give a boost with his experience and creative contribution to the Saucony world. We promise you an interview shortly with that amazing man.
The hope is that such an event will be the first of a long series .. and for now: thanks to Saucony and the Saucony Italia team for having led the way, in a big way, for a return to the great live events in fashion and in design!
