The initiatives of Nike On Air have led to various reworkings of iconic sneakers.
This time it’s the vision of photographer Lou Matheron to shed light on Air VaporMax Plus technology drawing inspiration from her everyday environment.
Influenced by the colors and materials scattered around the land under construction of a Paris court, the creative Lou Matheron presented for the new Nike Air VaporMax Plus, a very heavy silhouette composed of metallic grays and pastel blues, with ornaments that far exceed those we usually see.
The bright yellow Swooshes are literally glued on the profile of the synthetic upper and pushed up by oversized straps connected together with metal stops.
The diagonal striped prints find life on the blue elastic band, on the tongue and on the special insoles which instead prefer fluorescent tones torn directly from its muse.
The new Nike Air VaporMax Plus “Paris Works In Progress” will be on sale from April 13 with a price of € 227.
