Paloma Elsesser, plus-size model, and the stars of today’s world of Tik Tok and Instagram, are the new protagonists of the Coach x Champion campaign.
Coach, founded in a Manhattan loft, represents American dream values. To do it the best, this time, he joined forces with another giant of Made in USA: Champion.
The modern luxury of Coach and the fresh and sporty style of Champion have given life to a current collection, authentic and representative of the American fashion of today. Coach’s creative director, Stuart Vevers stated:
“I was inspired by the idea of elevating the silhouettes of sportswear in an unmistakably Coach way using leather, shearling and combining our iconic symbols in a way that is fresh, young and immediate.”
The leather, a distinctive sign of Coach, is the protagonist of the collection! Adapted to design and more sporty garments in full Champion style. We see in fact a mix of college jackets with patch Champion with leather sleeves. The traditional oversized sweatshirts very “college” are also revisited in black leather, as well as matching pants. The design of the accessories is modern and sporty but the distinctive component of Coach is never lacking, all completed by the symbol of Champion, but in a luxurious key, made of matt metal.
The words of the Chief Global Design Officer of Champion, Ned Munroe, perfectly make the idea of the soul of the collection:
“The opportunity to collaborate with Stuart and the Coach team and combine the design experience, as well as the great legacy of these two iconic American brands, was what was so inspiring. Being able to unite the roots of Champion in sports with the exceptional mastery of Coach creates the opportunity for the iconic styles of Champion to come to life through a new and elevated lens “.
The relevance of the collection also lies in the choice of its testimonials. Protagonist of the campaign in fact the famous plus-size model Paloma Elsesser, along with figures who are usually not used to the flashes of the fashion world: the star of Tiktok Maha Gondal and the famous fashion leader of the app, Wisdom Kaye. C-Pop star Jeffrey Tung completes the quartet.
