Whether you are a great basketball connoisseur or not, it doesn’t matter, anyone who knows Michael Jordan and his famous shoes, some of the most iconic sneakers in history if not the most iconic ever. Well, a few months ago the rumor of an alleged Jordan women’s exclusive had appeared, however not much was known. Fortunately, today we can reveal the big news. For the first time, in fact, the brand has launched the Air Jordan 9, all female. With this model, originally released during Michael’s first retirement from basketball, Nike inaugurates the spring season with a real touch of style.
Although, in fact, there are some textures such as the white leather upper, dark blue tabs and rubber sole, the sneakers opt for a “Cactus Flower” color, through the use of tanned materials and natural plant-based dyes. The pair of sneakers, specifically, appears to be composed of two different models, each with its own respective accentuation. On the right side, orange, fuchsia and soft pink overlaps alternate; while a fluorescent shade, almost peach pink, dresses the midsole, the lace loops and the inner lining. Its left-hand counterpart sports a lemon yellow instead, alongside gray and purple fender blocks in addition to collars covered in dark blue leather.
Both models feature a primary neutral tone, thus allowing these vivid accents to stand out more. Obviously, the iconic logo on the sole and the number 23 embroidered on the back of the shoe are inevitable. Don’t miss the unmissable Air Jordan 9 “Change the World”, soon available in selected retailers and on the nike.com website starting March 13th. The retail price is $ 190.
