With the reopening of Swiss borders, a trip out of town to its capital is a must.
Zurich , a fusion of classic and contemporary styles, once again hosts Italian tourists offering, in addition to its traditional artistic beauty, unprecedented opportunities for entertainment and cultural study.
You will be amazed when walking through Bahnhofstrasse , the famous shopping street, you will come across the WOW Museum . Enter it.
Emotions and fun for young and old is what awaits you.
You will find yourself catapulted into a surprising path halfway between fun and culture : you will pass through the twelve rooms built on special perceptual effects and optical illusions.
For 60-90 minutes of your day you will be catapulted into a colorful and distorted world where walls, mirrors and lights confuse vision and senses.
Your perceptions will be questioned in a playful way, room after room you will find yourself involved in a cognitive journey that will lead you to ask yourself about yourself, the image you have of reality, on virtuality and the multiplicity of points of view.
The goal of Vanessa and Matthias Kammermann , creators of the project, was precisely this: to create a space in which we can still delude .
The inspiration was born five years ago, during a trip to Japan, Australia and New Zealand that left the couple with the idea of wanting to create something enigmatic in the heart of Zurich, their city. Combined with the desire to create a place for everyone full of fun, WOW Museum is born.
An unusual and exciting place where you can admire your perception and try incredible things, getting to know yourself .
A digital guided tour
The visitor guide system is in step with the times: it simply works through your smartphone, using QR codes .
The WOW museum is the first museum in Zurich to use Ticketino , a reservation system for time slots which considerably facilitates the management of visitors, in compliance with the new rules on social distancing from COVID-19.
Everything we needed after the tension and fears of the months spent at home: once again it is the imagination that gives a change, just like the Gucci Off The Grid project .
