This week has been a really profitable week for TOMM¥ €A$H: after just the announcement of the release of the bread-slippers made and designed for Maison Martin Margiela, here comes the new collaboration for Rick Owens.
The collaboration will include precise and already defined items: two T-shirts, a hoodie and a small mat. The carpet is decorated with Baroque motifs, which overall recall the classical motifs of Persian carpets: in the center, however, the two handwritten signatures of the two authors appear as an art signature. The t-shirts and sweatshirts, on the other hand, in the colors of white and black, are simple and sober items, with signatures on the chest of the silhouette.
Estonian rapper TOMM¥ €A$H is increasingly establishing himself as a “revolutionary” creative in the contemporary fashion scene and his career, from music, is undoubtedly moving towards the world of fashion.
Only in March he collaborated with three different brands, after starting in 2019 with Rick Owens (with whom the collaboration will continue with this capsule): in addition to Owens and Margiela, at the beginning of the month €A$H had produced the most long in the world, made with Adidas.
The common denominator, however, is precisely this satirical vein: if in 2019, with Owens, they had exhibited his sperm at the Kumu art museum in Tallinn, now he challenges himself in very long shoes and optical illusion techniques.
The collaboration with Owens therefore seems very basic and therefore a little “off topic” compared to what we would have expected to see.
The collaboration of TOMM¥ €A$H and Rick Owens is currently available on the dedicated TOMM¥ €A$H website, priced between €50 and €70 EUR (approximately $59 – $83 USD).
