For the first time on the little screen will be recognized the importance of streetwear in the fashion scene with a “Project Runway” in “street” version!
There is no young designer or fashion enthusiast who hasn’t been daydreaming in front of “Project Runway“! The US program first came to life in 2004 and then became a cult of fashion talent shows. For the less experienced, the program includes a competition divided into episodes between aspiring designers who fight in themed challenges, to create the perfect garment. A war to reach the final prize: a sum of money and the appearance on magazines of a certain thickness.
Fashion is constantly evolving, changing trends, tastes, design and styles. Streetwear is increasingly “luxury” and today is considered equal to many other styles of the fashion industry. Fashion changes and so does its surroundings. These days the news is now official, HBO Max, streaming platform owned by Warner Bros, ordered the production of the first season of “The Hype“, the first talent in street version.
How and when it will take place is not yet known but we know that the cast of the show is not to be underestimated: starting from the producer Offset, the American rapper will also judge, along with Beth Birkett, creative director and founder of Bephies Beauty Supply, and to Marni Senofonte, a famous designer who collaborates with the likes of Beyoncé. The episodes will be conducted by Speedy Morman famous journalist of Complex Media.
In short, a cast all in one piece, for a talent that we can not wait to find out! For now we don’t know the release date of the reality show but we know it will be divided into eight points. Stay tuned and streetwear power!
