As already mentioned, the collaboration between Fred Perry and the Amy Winehouse Foundation continues with the presentation of a new capsule collection.
The first collaboration dates back to 2010, when the singer designed about fifteen garments for the British brand, which represented the perfect combination of Fred Perry‘s vintage style and Amy‘s Fifties pin-up style.
After the artist’s disappearance, the creative team took back the sketches of the collection in hand, giving life, in 2017, to a capsule inspired by the clothes that remained only designs for years.
The items of the latest capsule, inspired by the first models designed by the singer for Fred Perry, recall the characteristic British style thanks to the tartan prints in the Strawberry Pink and Lipstick Red colorways
Characteristic of each garment are the two red hearts in relief, a reference to the distinctive tattoos of Amy Winehouse, accompanied by the embroidered Laurel Wreath logo, and the satin patches depicting the playing cards on the t-shirt and sweatshirt.
The collection contributes to supporting the charity work of Amy Winehouse Foundation, which aims to help young people who are victims of drug and alcohol addiction.
The collection is now online on the official Fred Perry website.
