We’ve told you several times about the Japanese brand Hender Scheme. Today we are talking about a further step: the official collaboration with Adidas.
What seemed like a small demonstration of craftsmanship … almost a ‘divertissement’ has over the years become a true business.
For the less informed: Hender Scheme has started to realize or, better ,re-create the most famous forms of sneakers, crafting only by sewing leather pieces. The result is amazing: forms of classic Vans, Adidas and Nike sneakers take on a new and luxurious outfit. Over time, however, the skin acquires a special patina that makes them even more precious.
Although the prices are really high, as is normal for completely manually-made shoes, the brand has begun to enter more and more important stores.
Now the news that brings the brand to another level. On September 2, selected stores will sell 3 models in official collaboration with Adidas.
The selected models are: Superstar, Micro Pacer and NMD. With these 3 sneakers the collabo want to embrace the whole story of Adidas, made of past, present and future. In particular strikes us a shoe so new and ‘technological’ as the NMD. The Hender Scheme laboratories had to rethink the ‘side stibilizers’ between the upper and the outsole: obviously made in leather.
The price list should be: 900 € for Superstars, 950 € for Micro Pacers and 1000 € for NMDs.
Where to buy them? Definitely on the official Adidas Originals x Hender Scheme website, then on END Clothing and other stores we will update on.
