Let’s say the truth: the bumper has never been a particularly popular accessory. There are very few references within the common imagination that refer to this particular wallet, perhaps because we never understood whether it was a wallet to wear, or a small size bag for those who hate to carry it by hand or on the shoulder. But it is a fact that has become a real trend in recent times: from Prada to Dior, through the fast-fashion brands, everyone has made at least one version of this hybrid garment.
Pijama, a brand that has always been attentive to new trends, but in a unique way, according to its particular aesthetic idea, offers different versions of this item: from camouflage to geometric shapes depicting stylized leaves (afterwards we are in the fall season) or more rational, colors à la Missoni or, more simply, the united shades. The made in Italy brand has thought of all tastes, without neglecting the details that characterize it: the skeleton of each bumper, made as always in neoprene coupled with the fabric, is equipped with an ergonomic shape, referring to the past of architect Sergio Gobbi, founder of the company in 2006 together with fashion designer Monica Battistella.
For Carrie Bradshaw’s nostalgics in the Sex and the City episode where she wears the belt bag (signed by Gucci), these Pijama’ bumpers are a good alternative to backpacks, shoulder bags and clutches. They are perfect on a travel look, or for seasonal scamapagnate to taste the precious truffle. Or else, to guard your secrets everywhere.
