It’s quite a surprise. We are used to thinking and associating the UGG brand with the classic sheepskin boots.
The brand, it has to be said, on the male side has never reached to break through this type of footwear, while on the woman, UGG has been an amazing best-seller over the past seasons.
Lately, as it is cyclic in fashion, it has dropped in a significant way, but in our opinion a bit like Dr Martens, UGG is such an iconic shoe that will never stumble.
This is why the company obviously felt the need to expand the range. And so it has launched these sneakers that represent a distinctive mix between a traditional-style sneaker with good leather and technological one, with the so called Hyperweave fabric that winks to technical fabrics today used by brands such as Nike ( Flyknit) and Adidas (Primeknit), but in an apparently warmer yet breathable version.
The result is something special, which can be liked or not, but will surely have its own audience. The colors are particularly sober and monochromatic and allow you to hit a public looking for a product that is very comfortable, practical and in a style that is not too loud.
