Ladies and gentlemen here is the new ss16 collection from Supreme at its full. In the gallery you will find all pictures while below we announce our 13 favorite pieces, in which we motivate the choice.
The collection is the first signed by the new head designer Max Vanderwoude Gross, who did a good job, with nothing particularly upsetting, but creating a very smooth transition and free of major shocks.
- One of the best combinations ever created by Supreme, one with Morrissey, from which a real legal war was born. It will end on streetwear history books. From grab absolutely and at all costs. The history of the ‘war’ ve we told already here.
- Classic color block jacket, in a mix of sportswear and uniform gas station. Able to wink at Mondrian.
- Typical and whimsical impractical color for a denim jacket which, if you will known how to wear it, will make you a character worthy of a Danny Boyle film.
- Rude military camo, matched with a mega embroidery of a butterfly. Matching seemingly impossible, that only New York brand can do . The design is an original artwork by Mark Gonzales.
- Classical track gymnastic chenille, in 70s style, with a distinctly pijama flavor. Definitely Supreme.
- Another classic brand approach: tough bomber jacket signed Schott, made impractical color, and character of the cartoon illustrations. Wonderful.
- Classic quilted gas station jacket with impractical sequins embroidery that recalls the Alfa Romeo logo. Kitch at the highest level, another must.
- Other cult. An allover print, based on an object that is part of the collection: the Mendini made ceramic gun. Masterpiece.
- Inevitable leather jacket cafe racer style with mega-logo on the chest.
- A combination of crazy Mendini, historic home of Italian design and Supreme. The result is a table ceramic door-objects that reproduces a colored gun.
- Classic professional completely ‘out of context’ object customized. Who could do without in their toolbox of a pincer red fire with beautiful white logo?
- The rude woodsman is tender with the allover of hearts. Typical, unlikely, but here it fits perfectly contrast.
- Another classic piece that can not ‘miss : a powerful floral fantasy. Here on a nice shirt. who the fuck is Liberty of London?.
