After 14 years from the first collab, and over 25 seasons later, the Dream team Supreme x The North Face renews what can be defined as a historic friendship in a new capsule to be released on May 27th.
The signature look / trademark of the Supreme x The North Face collaborations are the all-over-logos waterproof jackets in every style and cut and bright colors, cornerstones also confirmed for the Spring Summer 2021 capsule with hints of pink, blue and burgundy.
In addition to the iconic anoraks, the joining point of the entire collection will be the innovative Outer Tape closure, which is a water-repellent external zip covered in coated nylon. Aesthetically, the seams will seem covered with an abandoning layer of adhesive tape, practically it will be almost impossible for water or other agents to overcome the coated layer and penetrate the jacket (and the other items of the capsule).
The collection therefore consists of a series of garments characterized by the Outer Tape Seam Shell (the zipper welding system just mentioned), which are the Shell Jacket, the Coach jacket, the mountain pants and the camping cap. There are also other items in cotton printed with pigment and logos embroidered on the front: the crewneck sweatshirt, the sweatpants and the t-shirt.
Every self-respecting Supreme collection also includes accessories, in this case only two. The Route Rocket Backpack, a backpack made of super-resistant 420D Shredstop ™ nylon, tear-resistant, water and weather resistant, and the Neck Pouch, a shoulder bag. The Neck Pouch is also covered with water-repellent colored nylon in the outer shell, with a small transparent plastic window with a printed logo to be able to spy on what you decide to put inside.
