Launched exclusively on SSENSE, Heron Preston introduces JUMP, a new collection characterized by 12 unisex pieces made with recycled parachutes.
After the recent collaboration with Levi’s, the streetwear brand Heron Preston returns to talk about himself by launching JUMP, a totally sustainable collection whose name takes its cue from the raw material used, the recycled parachutes.
Inspired by the materials themselves, the range is modeled on parachuting clothing. The color block windbreakers with orange zips come in a bright red and orange color and in neutral gray and white. Bags and backpacks land in the same coordinated colors, with black straps and orange patches with the typical Heron Preston logo. For a more relaxed style, instead, orange and red basketball-style shorts with elastic waist and gray and white tracksuit pants were made.
Of course, the collection would not be complete without a cozy T-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt both in black and made of cotton, with the parachute fabric patches details like the rest of the products in the range.
Each garment is stamped with a JUMP logo in pink and red along with the words: “Scrap parachute material, re-used as a patch”, for cotton products and “Decommission parachute, re-cut and updated,” on the rest of the elements . The text also continues as: “Due to the fabric used, imperfections and unique signs from parachutes can be evident.”
The SSENSE pop-up store will be open until August 26th, while the entire collection is on sale at the online store.
