Lemaire is a fashion boutique founded in Paris in 1990 by the designer Christophe Lemire with the collaboration of Sarah-Linh Tran. After many years working for known stilists, Christophe Lemaire decided to open his own boutique in rue Poitou and created a colection of prêt-à-porter fashion.
The boutique offers womenswear and menswear of high-quality and can be used in everyday life: they are realized from the best tailors and are inspired by the contemporary tendencies of the French capital. Source of inspiration for the designer are also the 1920s, Asia and the classy and cosmopolitan streetwear of Paris.
During the career of the designer the various collaborations have been important: he collaborated with Mugler, Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein and Lacoste and he made experience in Hermès fashion house.
The style of the boutique interior design is minimal-chic and eastern. the floors are made of white wood as well as the walls, composed above all of white curtains. The furnishings are made of white fabric, from the sofas until the tables, while the ceiling is like a gold mirror. The classic and eastern touch is then recalled by Persian carpets and by some plants inside the boutique.
