Once again it’s a jump into the past that catapults Sean Wotherspoon into the Olympus of contemporary urban fashion. Following the great success achieved with his Nike Air Max 1/97, the famous owner of the Round Two (reknowned shop in Los Angeles) scored a new collaboration with Guess Jeans. The result? A collection marked by a great love for casual-sport fashion and vintage.
Among the most passionate collectors in the world of vintage clothing and shoes, Sean Wotherspoon made the best out of his immense interest in fashion, to create a limited edition of garments exclusively designed for Guess Jeans. Reinterpreting the American soul and the historical roots of the brand, the limited collection discovers, once again, the full potential of the audacious ’80s and ’90s.
Sean Wotherspoon x Guess Jeans. The collection
The culture and style of these key decades in the history of fashion have been concentrated and translated into modern and “explosive” pieces. Fuchsia, green, orange, yellow, all colors are neon, strong and impactful, to create a bold look, but at the same time playful and summery. Thus, the collection is born to expresses the carefree and relaxed spirit, characteristic of the Californian way of life.
Among the most interesting proposals there are colorful denim jackets, hooded sweatshirts, tracksuits, striped and color-blocked T-shirts, and then also floral shirts and memorable overalls. All the pieces fit perfectly into the Californian atmosphere, embodied by the particular setting chosen for the lookbook. Immersed in a typical West Coast backdrop, the garments mix with the rich variety of fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers of the famous Farmers Market.
The exclusive collection will be released during the event GUESS Farmers Market on May 5th, followed by a wider online release.
