Salehe Bembury and New Balance together for the New Balance Yurt 574

Today we cannot fail to talk about Salehe Bembury. The designer, who is making his way more and more in the world of streetwear, has decided to expand his collaborations with New Balance with a collection that takes the name of ‘Universal Communication‘.

And it is with a campaign made of colors and fun that Bembury presents its new fall/winter 2021 collection. With faces like Jesse Williams, Algee Smith the new sneakers are presented along with other clothing products. But let’s start with the New Balance Yurt 574. It is a shoe model with a rear whistle and created in different colors: Olive/Navy/Red, Gray/White, Black/Purple, Teal/Volt and White/Blue/Pink. The shoe features a series of suede panels of different lengths, mesh and ripstop fabrics.

For clothing, various items were presented including fleece and nylon trousers, a series of fleece pullovers with the designer’s fingerprint on the back, jackets, vests and sweatshirts with graphics. Colors ranging from military green to beige to electric blue. Small details that make the difference, from the fleece patches to the initial ‘NB‘ episodes that refer to the New Balance brand. And to top it off, the New York-based designer also decides to offer an assortment of accessories such as backpacks, nylon scarves with hidden pockets and fleece caps.

There is still no official date for the release of Salehe Bembury’s Fall / Winter 2021 collection in collaboration with New Balance. Waiting for an official date, however, we can continue to admire the shots of the campaign and dream together with the New York designer.
