Public School and Nike met about a year ago to plan a new partnership together.
Finally we have detailed photos of the result: a model of Nike Air Force 1 High, which, unfortunately, will end up in the hands of 50 friends, or, as they call them ‘friends & family‘.
Work on a white upper, have a leather mask, at the height of the lacing, an overswen swoosh, with a raised upper part and a leather insert on the heel, folded on itself.
The sneakers are out of the market and on the same label clearly written ‘not for reselling‘.
So why do we publish them? Because we think design is really good, and well-made interpretations of a historical model like Air Force 1 do not happen every day.
And then, these ‘experiments’ are test benches, very often to go out then, with models, really available on the market.
Last: it is not said that will not be found on the ‘reselling’ market. It is quite possible that some of these 50 friends decide to sell them. Obviously at collector’s prices.
