Communication and promotion of one’s business, as we all know, is fundamental. Especially at a time like this, where most of the games are played online: with smart working, many people stay in their homes and domestic environments. By not going out we are less subject to the usual more common advertising schemes: billboards, posters, screens and displays are far from us and temporarily less accessible to passers-by.
Companies are reinventing themselves: how to get to the hearts of users and potential customers using only the web? Initiatives seem to be the best answer. Many businesses are promoting their content with promotions or free trial periods.
Pornhub docet in this case. Already in March he had found a way to surprise us: its premium version was offered for free to anyone who signed up to the online platform. This was the company’s way of encouraging, in a completely creative and revolutionary way, people to stay indoors (but with fun!).
For this time, why not try to do something about a social problem that afflicts the younger generations? Sex education, poorly explained in state public schools, has always been a sensitive subject, difficult for teachers to tackle. Who better than Pornhub could free the subject from all the taboo it has been covered over the years? The site now offers a series of videos, providing help, advice and tips on everything there is to know about sex, including the risks and dangers. Pornhub Sex Ed it is, of course, also available to under 18s (precisely because it is they who want to do the most training, helping them and directing them towards a protected and aware activity).
In a statement Corey Price (Vice President of Pornhub) said:
“For many people, their first real exposure to sexual imagery comes from popular culture, where dramatization and the value of entertainment distort real sex”
This initiative, which has certainly positively shocked the general public (and also the slice of users who usually use the platform), has earned Pornhub a new face and a new reputation. Good job!
