You might think you saw wrong, but you would be wrong: yes, among the subjects of the prints of the new collection F/W 2019 menswear by Stella McCartney there is also a cloud that (apparently) has the deliberate form of … a penis.
The shirt that depicts the phallic shape has become a real media case, shared on social media, and has stolen the spotlight to the other pieces of the series, entitled “All Together Now”, despite their almost perfect realization and the execution of original cuts.
Provocation aside, the new collection of the British designer is inspired nothing more than by the band of his father, The Beatles. As did the artist Andy Warhol with his illustrations, in fact, even McCartney decided to let herself be guided by the style of the unforgettable Liverpool quartet, characterized by bright colored shirts and elegant coats, high-necked and waterproof sweaters with patches, letting herself be cradled in the process of creation by childhood memories.
The same “incriminated” illustration, in fact, is accompanied on the shirt by the legendary design by Heinz Edelmann used for the cover of the album “Yellow Submarine”, representing the four Beatles – only one of the many references to Mr. McCartney, Lennon & Co -.
#Porncloud designed on purpose or not, in short, what we know is that this collection will be a real success for those who love the “Lords” of rock ‘n’ roll and appreciate pop pieces of inspiration, for a style that blends bold English tradition and psychedelic style.
