In fashion you win if you have millions of followers, if you’re popular with social media subjects. This happens today, for most brands. It does not matter anymore to sell clothes, but to become stars on Instagram. However there are still realities able to make clothing as it should be and that, above all, owe their success to sales and not to the amount of like. Pierre-Louis Mascia is part of the last group, increasingly reduced.
To consecrate the success of the designer is a season full of satisfactions, in particular from the commercial point of view. Starting from June at Pittimmagine Uomo in that of Florence, continuing to TranoÏ Homme and Femme in Paris to finish at White in Milan, the campaign of Mascia ended with positive data and with the participation on October 14th at the special event organized by TranoÏ in Shanghai – which anticipates the unprecedented French fair in China in 2019 – on the runway for the first time, along with other brands of the old continent.
The illustrator from Toulouse (France), a lover of prints, colors and precious fabrics, takes a further step towards the definition of his brand entirely made in Italy, born in 2007. But it’s been two seasons since the designer started to define her aesthetic, conceived as an evolved wardrobe for him and for her made of easy to wear pieces, with a natural feeling, printed and produced in a sustainable way by Achille Pinto, excellence of the Como silk district.
His creative flair, his ability to choose materials – the best Italian silk, sustainable cotton and innovative techno-fibers – have proved successful after eleven years of personal history characterized by a well-deserved happy ending.
