An adventurous journey in the streets of Cusco. Discovering unexpected landscapes and distant cultures with only the essentials in the backpack. You come back home with a particular “souvenir” that matches Inca tradition with urban forms of sneakers. Perus is a French brand that was born thanks to the operation of the crowdfunding site ulule.com, the intuition of three boys returned from the discovery of South America. The result is a hybrid product of Inca motifs, French design and Peruvian manufacture with cosmopolitan allure. Harmand, Nicolas and Henri are the founders of the brand, searching for ethical and not industrial street wear, with materials which are entirely local products and social projects such as #twoshoesforschool in collaboration with the association “Los Chicos de Cusco”.
As Simon & Garfunkel for the traditional “El Condor Pasa” in 1970, Perus tries to send the Andean culture in Europe.
