With the melting of snow and the return of the sun, Roa continues to innovate its approach to functional footwear. The latest spring and summer collection is bringing their dedication to style to a whole new level.
Originally created for mountain enthusiasts, Roa has now become part of a larger cultural zeitgeist where function meets fashion. Rooted in a passion for beauty combined with practical excellence, the Italian brand blends performance technique and contemporary style in a pair of shoes. But despite the speed of modernization, Roa continues to maintain traditional manufacturing processes.
All materials and finishes are chosen to guarantee the best performance and results – especially for trekking and cycling – while at the same time providing a look that is attentive to trends. Helping the citizens of the world to conquer all the paths and peaks of style, the technically perfected footwear constantly pushes the idea of gorpcore as a daily adventure.
All year, everywhere and for everyone.
For the SS19 collection, the Andreas shoe is painted with colorful brushstrokes that add a sense of eclecticism to the shape of the hiking book in the robust Kudu leather. Apparently, even artists wear Roa.
The Daiquiri in nylon mesh is transformed instead, presenting an ankle sock and combining the large shape with an elegant and sporty vision, while the Vincent is presented as a new shape with a mix of leather and neon.
From the pink colors to the mint green, color plays an important role throughout the collection. Drawing inspiration from 1980s sportswear and 90s clubwear, shoes bring a sense of revolutionary fun to hiking adventures.
The game of collaborations
Also continues with SS19. A global collective of artists and designers, Brain Dead introduces a mix of keywords such as streetwear and sub-culture, updating the Oblique and transforming it into the trainer of the moment. Dirty white nylon, harlequin print, grayscale camo sole and bright yellow details: the influences of Roa and Brain Dead are masterfully intertwined.
The exclusive Vibram® sole, with Roa goes from being a simple functional element to a real element of style, with flabby finishes combined with bright colors that respond to the strong history of the color of the collection.
More than ever, Roa is coming down from the mountains to get to all the streets.
