The new Nike Air Zoom Next% in lime green and Valerian blue definitely have an extra gear!
Just like the last Nike Space Hippy… the new Air Zoom Next% have an important sole both for size and color, but most of all for the technology they are built up on.
In 2019 in Vienna Eliud Kipchoge ran 42 km in less than two hours and wore the Prototype of the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next%!
The runners tried to “break” the two-hour threshold during a marathon for years, only Eliud succeeded and wore the technology before the one we are talking about today.
This is not a coincidence though, Nike in 2016 undertook a project called “Breaking2“, with the aim of breaking the famous two hours.
The first attempt was in Monza in 2017, where Eliud Kipchoge crossed the line at 2:00:25.
He wore the Nike Vaporfly 4%, a previous model to the Alphafly Next%, which according to numerous statistics are the shoes with which about 40% of riders ran a marathon in less than three hours.
The Vapor 4%, moreover, are the only ones to have been put on sale before the model of which we speak today.
The Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next% is structured on three elements that truly make the difference.
