The “See now, buy now – Fendi Mania” project, born of the Fendi x Fila collaboration started last October with a F/W 2018-19 capsule that literally make heads spin, continues successfully. Combining streetwear, sport and luxury, the Roman brand and the sports brand have kicked off a new SS19 collection that revisits the street-style wardrobe, mixing elegance and dynamism.
For the occasion, the logos of the two companies were reinterpreted and merged by the Scottish artist Hey Relly, who “mixed” the recognizable “F” of the sports brand with the iconic “F” of the haute couture house, making prints characterized by two color combinations – red/blue and yellow/white -.
The line is inspired by the style of the ’80s and ’90s with mini-bikinis, fitted dresses, long skirts, open shoes with low heels, bags and beach shoes.
The combination Fendi x Fila – the “strange couple”, at least in appearance – plays on the “mix and match” with vintage touches and a set of futuristic products but with a sporty and comfortable design, to make each outfit unique and original. The SS19 collection, in fact, reinterprets the Fendi codes, infusing power and energy in every garment – thanks to numerous references to streetwear, music and sport – without ever losing irony.
Ready to become the umpteenth fashion-obsession for the “Fendi-maniacs” – and not only -, the new capsule collection promises to leave its mark. for the next “hot” season. And it is practically impossible to question its appeal…!
