Nicola Brognano‘s first fashion show for Blumarine is a blast from the past which is however reinterpreted in a modern key.
Nicola Brognano, for those unfamiliar with him, is a designer of Calabrian origins who, after graduating from the Marangoni Institute in Milan, launched his own brand, Brognano. Today he is the new creative director of Blumarine.
For SS21, some of the maison’s archive pieces are relaunched, such as fur trims and low-waisted trousers.
The Blumarine logo is a strong presence on belts, sandals, brooches.
A show with a thousand colors consciously mixed with the help of Lotta Volkova styling, which make every single look interesting.
