Since 2016, Louis Vuitton has been raising donations for children in need of UNICEF, raising the valuable sum of nearly $13 million.
As a follow-up to the #makeapromise campaign, the French Maison launches four new colours for the “Silver Lockit” bracelet. Inspired by the lock invented by Georges Vuitton in 1890 to protect the valuables of customers was chosen as a symbol of a promise: to help children at risk. The organic cotton cords are available in four new colors: black, water green, pink and blue, all combined with the iconic recycled silver padlock.
In addition to the bracelet, already protagonist of the partnership LV – UNICEF, was also born the teddy bear Doudou Louis. Made of organically grown cotton and decorated with the characteristic Monogram fabric in pastel colors. Symbol of childhood and sweetness, is the perfect mascot to represent the support of the maison towards less fortunate children.
100,oo of the 395,00 € for the Lockit bracelet will be donated to the association in their own name. While with €690.00 for the teddy bear, joining the collection “Gift Ideas”, a perfect gift for children but also for themselves as a souvenir and symbol of solidarity.
