Everything recalls the light, and symbolizes the desire for rebirth. It is no coincidence that one of the Pantone colors of the year that has just begun is Illuminating Yellow.
Brilliant and vibrant, it calls the sun and inspires us… even if it’s not exactly your favorite color.
THE LIGHT THAT PERFUMES
About light, what better way to make an environment more welcoming and bright than with candles? Although they haven’t their original function more, they retain the charm of an evocative ritual, which can also become luxurious. An example are the candles of the famous swedish brand BYREDO. 2021 in the name of MINDFULNESS
One of the spiritual rituals that has been gaining more and more space in recent times has the name of Palo Santo. Technically, a wooden stick extracted from the tree of the same name, found in the Amazon rainforest and grown in Ecuador and Peru. Once fallen naturally it turns into sticks to be burned to chase away the domestic negativity and emanate a delicate trail of essential oils, a fragrance very different from the well-known incense.
A practice that will probably become less and less sustainable as its popularity increases.
