For the new Spring Summer 2021 collection, Levi’s Vintage Clothing, constantly faithful to the trends of past cultural periods, has given life to the British Madchester music scene’s.
The collection is called “Loose Fix” and is a tribute to the generation of the 80’s acid-house scene in Manchester, where a very eclectic indie-dance fashion prevailed. Some examples? Tie-die tops and t-shirts, brooches, fisherman’s hats, football socks and of course, the iconic “baggy” Levi’s jeans emerged.
Taking up the trends of the time, with an oversized tailoring and a palette of acidulous and bold colors, the “Loose Fix” collection by Levi’s Vintage Clothing is composed by large rainbow parkas, t-shirts with graphic prints illustrated by Central Station Design, anorak denim jackets and striped sweaters.
The iconic baggy jeans have been revisited in detail with a water-less manufacturing technique and a sustainable use of cotton. Among the models there are the 501 1945 with zipper, the 1947 with a snug fit, the 1980s exclusively in white and the 1955 with a fairly looser fit. In addition to the wide selection of 501s, there is an archive reproduction of the Bedford 519 in ecru.
