Did you think you’ve already seen everything from the irreverent Adidas / Kanye West combination? Well, the ideas of the American singer naturalized designer are never predictable, and as usual here is launched the new electrifying Yeezy experiment, the Knit Rnnr.
Slip on sneakers seem to be the winning mode for Yeezy after the success of Foam Rnnr and Slide proposed for the last Spring / Summer collection, and it is perhaps for this reason that the new Knit Rnnr model does not seem to stray too far from the already widely explored design approach. Indeed the sneakers released in preview seem a rather similar upgrade in shape to the previous Foam Rnnr, but knitted.
We could describe the Knits as the Foam in winter version, covered with a blanket!
For now we have only seen the blanket in question very yellow, in the first and only color variant released in preview, the “Case Power Yellow“.
The shoe is not entirely made of knitwear material, otherwise the effect, in addition to being more like a sock than a shoe, would not have guaranteed usability for more than a couple of hours. In fact, it is thought that a system of air cushions inserted into the sole is implanted inside, in order to guarantee its practicality and durability.
Release date and other possible variants remain a mystery for now, it is imagined they could see the launch between the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, also to find out the retail price of the sneakers, waiting times still seem to be long.
