This is a style-guide, but a little different from usual. TODAY I WILL TALK ABOUT THE LEOPARD PRINT
The leopard print still continue to be a must have for the next season, but if you do not know how to measure it in the right way, you risk to be vulgar, and this is neither cool neither elegant.
It is not that easy to wear a garment with a leopard print, so, in “a world full of poor Kardashian” I decided (as always) to go against the current and give you some tips by taking inspiration from those who wore the leopard seriously with charm and elegance. And I’m talking about icons like Jackie O, Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly.
The key to wear perfectly this kind of print, is certainly the attitude, but this is something that you have it or you do not have it (I’m sorry).
But I could give you advice on how to combine it.
Three simple rules: defuse, simplify, match.
It’s very simple to defuse, you just need to wear the leopard print with a jeans or a t-shirt and you’re done.
The problem comes in simplifying. If you decide to wear the leopard print, it would be better to avoid other prints. I know, you’ll say: “oh well thi is an easy concept!”, believe me, the more I look around and the more I understand that in reality it is not.
The tragedy, on the other hand, is accomplished when it comes to MATCH.
Do you want to wear a skirt? Ok, but I said short (not as short to show your pussy around), but please avoid to put on a kind top just bought in the sexy shop 5 minutes before.
In combination with the skirt, I can also allow you to wear opaque or black mesh tights (unless you are going to rob a bank, leave the nude tights in the drawer), if and only, if you wear a shoe even with high heel, but SOBER.
Free way to leopard print trousers of any shape and fabric. Cigarette, leg, jersey or technical fabric, as long as you combine them with something simple, maybe a t-shirt or a shirt for the day, while for the evening you can also opt for a low-cut top (if you have real or fake tits higher than III° I would avoid it).
I already said that the animal print is not simple on its own, so please do not put yourself into situations in which you could not get out. So what colors can you combine the leopard with? Obviously yes to black and white as well as the tones of the nude.
Regarding the brown, on the other hand, the speech becomes complicated, because it must be the same shade as it appears in the leopard print.
Example: the light leopard print matches it with the camel. The dark leopard to brown. Above all, avoid bringing the brown or camel directly to the press. So camel coat with leopard shoe. Brown trousers with blouse or leopard shoe, or vice versa, please do not even think about it.
Super yes to leopard accessories! One at a time, maximum two. If you decide for the duo, be aware that they must have the same print … MY BEST WISHES.
About bags and shoes you could also indulge in the sense of shapes or materials (even if the leopardate cuissardes I would avoid them regardless), but you always have to pay attention to the clothes and colors with which they match. Very good to combine them with even more “hot” clothes in black or red to consolidate the “roar” mood, but WITHOUT OVERDO.
I would say that as with all prints in general, but with this even more, I would like to give the last piece of advice. Keep an eye to your physicality. Okay that “fat is nice”, but we avoid the ‘leavened printing effect or ridicule our forms rather than enhance them, which, apparently to Dolce and Gabbana is pretty good.
To conclude, always remember that you are not Nicki Minaj or Kim Kardashian, but above all we are not in the 80s and not even on the set of “The Nanny”.
