The design of one of 2019’s most popular sneaker collaborations stays largely the same, with a double-everything approach.
This season, though, sacai swaps out the leather, suede, and mesh combination for a predominantly nylon construction.
Just to recap, the model is simply a combination of the Waffle Daybreak and LDV Fusion, a high-end iteration of the sportswear giant’s signature sneakers. This pair, however, sports a nylon construction alongside suede and leather overlays. Additionally, the models highlight consists of double Swoosh branding, double tongue tabs, double laces and a more pronounced rubber sole dipped in contrasting white.
Both colorways will apparently be released on March 10 at various retailers. Nike has yet to officially announce the drop, though it’s highly likely that Nike SNKRS will also be launching the shoes. Stay tuned for more information as we get it.
