During the Milan Fashion Week, Gucci surprised everyone with an unexpected collaboration: Gucci x The North Face!
The news was spread by the Florentine brand on the official channels of Instagram and TikTok, through a video teaser that portrays, in a cryptic way, a mountain landscape on which a co-branded flag rises, all accompanied by the sound of a bagpipe.
We understood that 2020 was a year full of surprises in the fashion world, and this totally unexpected partnership confirms this.
Although the collabs are nothing new for The North Face, having worked with names such as Junya Watanabe, Supreme, Hender Scheme and Brain Dead, it will be interesting to see how Gucci will interpret the garments of the outwear brand. At the moment no other information has been released, apart from the declaration by the Italian maison:
Gucci and The North Face confirm that they will be bringing a collaboration to life in the coming months that celebrates the rich heritage of both brands.
