There is no item of clothing that is wrong with a pair of glasses. In the front row at fashion shows, in the most fashionable streets, and on many other occasions, there are many women who wear this combination. Besides, even Coco Chanel used to say: << No man will make you feel protected and safe as a cashmere coat and a pair of glasses >>. And it is on these premises that did the collaboration between two Turin reality: Vanni, important made in Italy eyewear brand, and Kristina Ti, clothing brand founded by Cristina Tardito.
There are three designs, which make up a portfolio that aims to be the symbol of the union between eyewear design signed by the Turin-based company, and the typical feminine elegance of Tardito’s creations. Lola, the daughter of Cristina, Lena, her grandmother, and Luna, the dog with whom she spent her entire adolescence. << They are the loves of my life that become the names of three models of glasses >>. So says the designer.
Each proposal is declined in three colors, and is structured on nine steel frames made through an innovative process called photoshearing: through a particular incision is made a particular embroidery effect that makes this glasses, stylish, sophisticated and contemporary. The latter takes up the iconic symbol of Kristina Ti, or the butterfly. And if Lola is delicate and feminine, Lena is more classical, while Luna is the most trendy and decorated with a little of irony. In this then, on the lens, it played the astronomical symbol of the star that, for this occasion, it is also an expression of cooperation between the two companies.
A beautiful collection, portable and suitable for a female audience rather large due to the uniqueness of each model. What we wanted in a sometimes saturated industrie with too many aesthetic embellishments.
