90s inspiration and contemporary design come together in a new unique shoe: Excelsior , the Arigato x CAT Footwear sneaker that, for Fall/Winter 19, dresses up new bold color variations.
Directly from the 1996 archive, Cat Footwear rediscovers the style of the iconic Intruder and revisits it through the Scandinavian design lens Axel Arigato , led by the Creative Director and Co-founder Max Svardh . The collaboration between the two brands leads to the creation of the Excelsior model: hybrid, unconventional and with an underground soul. The sneaker, strongly reminiscent of workwear, combines “work” elements with a contemporary style, presenting a heavy-duty sole and a modern upper in fine leather, with mesh inserts and Axel logo in relief. To complete the shoe, sturdy trekking cord laces, which refer to the background of the brand made in the USA Cat Footwear.
