Silvia Venturini Fendi questions the concept of ‘normality’ and presents a collection that reflects the period we are experiencing and which “wants to be an optimistic look at the future”.
“Each of us, in order not to lose his reason, must find his normality”, says Silvia Venturini Fendi when she has talked about the collection she presented in Milan. A collection that looks the future with hope and optimism, and to those days when we will want to walk the streets with a coat or a colored down jacket, and with a dose of therapeutic color”.
The dresses are certainly inspired, in part, by the comfort we have found recently, with oversized down jackets, comfy trousers, soft and enveloping fabrics. But, looking to the future, Fendi makes us rediscover the beauty, elegance, the rigor of an elegant dress, the desire to play with color and fabric patterns, a desire that we have lost a little during these months.
A dreaming detail are the embroideries and prints by Noel Fielding, on coats-dressing gowns and sweaters.
