Craig Green and Moncler arrive at their sixth collaboration. Details of this renewed union between the Italian-French maison and the British designer are coming out on social media these days. The Moncler’s instagram page shows us highly practical proposals where bold colors associated with earth tones are the masters.
The new collection has shapes inspired by nature, the main theme of the spring collection of many fashion houses, functional silhouettes and essential graphics combine with the adventurous spirit typical of Moncler and give greater prominence to new generation materials. The selection of iconic fabrics favors ripstop nylon and washed cottons in a palette of natural tones and earthy colors with flashes of color such as neon orange, sky blue, grass green and lemon yellow, as well as blue and black. A collection that presents itself as something purely artistic, garments in which the novelty of new generation fabrics is tested and the themes are pure artistic expressiveness of the designer.
The perfect mix for the concept of garments created with the function of facing natural elements: think of the timeless Grenoble line for skiing and, for example, the collection that celebrated the 60s since the rise of K2, “Moncler Lionel Terray” where Moncler down jackets were brought to a high level of technicality to be worn by the members of the Italian expedition that reached the top of K2 in 1954.
