To pay homage to the origin and culture of basketball, Concepts and Converse collaborate to redesign two silhouettes in “Southern Flame” collection: the historic Chuck 70 and the recent All Star BB Evo. The Chuck is inspired by the shadows of peaches contained in the baskets of fruit, from where James Naismith took inspiration when he invented the basketball discipline. Instead, the All Star is in acid tones of lime green.
The sneakers will be available on January 28 at Cncpts.com, Converse.com, Concepts stores in Boston and New York and at select Converse retailers, priced at $120 for the Chuck 70 and $140 for the All Star Evo BB.
